DANI CARACOLA & LA BANDA DE IDA Y VUELTA @ CIRCUIT FOLC
Dani Caracola & La Banda de Ida y Vuelta has joined the Circuit Folc 2012. The next dates for this folk music circuit are novembre the 8th @ Fira Mediterrània de Manresa and december the 8th @ Ripoll Some of the bands performing @ this year's Circuit Folc are Riu, Cris Juanico and Uns del Grup de Folk among others.
TRIO DE IDA Y VUELTA @ RUMBÀLIA
The 28th of september we celebrate at Rumbàlia (the Gastronomic Republic of Rumba) the release of the CD "Cultures Viatgeres" with the Crowdfunders of the project. There will be a live performance of Dani Caracola Trio with the songs of the album. Trio de Ida y Vuelta is: Albert Casanova (tres "cubano" and vocals), Martín Horne (percussion) and Dani Caracola (vocals and guitar). This release party is preceding the next concert with all the band (a sextet) the 26th of October at the Centre Cívic Parc Sandaru in Barcelona, too. DANI CARACOLA TRIO @ GRANOLLERS
The 13th of july Dani Caracola performed with the mozambican guitarrist Tchika Fernando (one of the guest musicians in the CD "Cultures Viatgeres") and Martín Horne (percussionist of Banda de ida y Vuelta) in aCommunity Street Party called Colors de Barri (Neighbourhood Colors) organized by Centre Cívic Jaume Oller (a Community Center of Granollers). There were neighbours from Gambia, Senegal, etc. and everybody brought food from their own culture background to share with the rest. The repertoire was intercultural, too: catalan rumbas, african latin american classics and, of course, songs from the Dani Caracola's album "Cultures Viatgeres" (Travelling Cultures).

This friday the 13th of april Dani Caracola will be interviewed in the radio programme "La Veu del Poble"@ LaBomba FM in Barcelona to talk about the album "Cultures Viatgeres". Omaira Beltrán, is a colombian journalist and the broadcaster of this radio programme. She has been living in Catalonia for 15 years.

"CULTURES VIATGERES" AT BARNASANTS FESTIVAL
The 23th of March was the premiere of "Cultures Viatgeres" at Barnasants Festival at Luz de Gas in Barcelona. Iit was only possible to listen to 6 songs of the album on the internet, so it was the first opportunity for the audience to hear all the 13 tracks of this intercultural and musical journey. Two of the 40 guests musicians of the album (Sabela Simón y Gaddafi Núñez) came to join the sextet formed by Dani Caracola & La Banda de Ida y Vuelta. This very special album will be soon released.
